Chris Tipp is a award winning actor, singer, and songwriter based in New York City. He will appear in For Your Love in June 2019. He most recently completed episode 6 of Wallace Sprague, Dog Psychiatrist, a serialized fiction podcast released at WallaceSprague.com. He led readings of Randy Noojin's new musical Joe Hill as Joe Hill and Barbara Blatner's new play The Clearing as Kirt, he appeared at the 2018 NYC Fringe Festival in a two-hander entitled, The Beautiful and he was awarded The Magical Pairings Award by the Sarasota Herald Tribune for his work in Constellations at Florida Studio Theatre.
His love for performing started through music, singing and playing guitar in hometown Florissant, Missouri, a small suburb of Saint Louis. He performed at coffee houses, private events and church congregations, but it was during his studies as a Philosophy Major that he did his first play.
He went on to receive his MFA in Acting from Western Illinois University, became an SAFD Actor Combatant and is a NYC Licensed Tour Guide. returned to Saint Louis where he worked for The Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis, Stages STL, New Jewish Theatre, Rebel and Misfits, and Straydog Theatre before moving to New York City.
