Hi there, I was raised in Saint Louis, more specifically in the North County of Saint Louis in Old Town Florissant, Missouri (or as some locals affectionally call NoCoFloMo). For my fellow Saint Louisans it might be important to know that I went to DeSmet Jesuit High School, I'm a big fan of Pironnes Pizza and an even bigger fan of gooey-butter-cake.

I have been overwhelmingly given to by loving family, friends, friends that have become family and countless others. I have been given more than I ever could have asked or hoped for. I got degrees in Philosophy and Acting, and with such a great foundation, the journey has continually shown me that I don't know nearly as much as I think I do, beautifully humbling and humiliating in equal measure.

For 10 years I lived in New York City and I loved it, especially the people, many of whom came from all corners of the world to a call that place home, I was grateful to be one of them. I have pieced together being an artist, an actor, and a musician with numerous jobs: a handyman, a tour guide, and a housekeeper just to name a few. I've performed in over 25 professional acting projects spanning, theatre, film and voice.

In all things, I love collaborating with others. I love people and the stories that span our experience of great love and great suffering, great hope and great despair and the nuances in between. I enjoy the process and the challenges of working with others and finding a flow that works for all of us. The work is most rewarding when amidst the process, something sparks, something clicks and suddenly a moment or the story as a whole makes more sense. I love these moments of discovery, of clarity when something grows out of the work that wasn't there before... then, getting to share it.

My very best to you and yours,

Chris Tipp
